I passed both my LPN & RN using NCSBN

I used NCSBN in 2015 to pass my LPN Nclex. I passed it with just 85 questions. Then this year I passed my RN on July 31st of  2018 using NCSBN. I passed the RN with 75 questions. I did every question & read every rational to ensure that I understood why I got it right or wrong. I also listened to the question dissect. It was all so helpful to me.

  • Is this all you used?

Congratulations to you. Can you tell how many SATA was in those 75?

For my LPN I only used NCSBN. For my RN my school included Hurst in our tuition. So, I did study the core content from Hurst but I didn’t find Hurst content as detailed as I needed. I reinforced their content with NCSBN’s content. I answered about 350 Hurst questions and all 1500 questions for NCSBN.

I had like 5 or 6 SATA in a row I definitely remember that. Then I had probably 10 more. Because I answered a lot of questions I didn’t find the test that hard. When I studied the Nclex I gathered information from questions that I got wrong or right. If I answered the question and I got it wrong or just didn’t know the topic I studied it. So, it took me a long time answer the questions.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply as I am getting ready for this journey, I am a new grad and will be taking NCLEX soon, I have registered for weeks of review with NCSBN and I hope to get enough practice review before the due date, please let me ask you, did you or anyone you know used UWorld?
  • In reply to julienne123:

A lot of people in my class used Uworld with varying results. I know someone who got all the questions & some who got the minimum amount. I think you world is just questions. You have to use what’s best for you.
