I look forward to hearing from you!
My name is Jennifer Pope, NCSBN’s Learning Extension new E-Learning Program Manager. Our mission at NCSBN is to provide nursing students, practicing nurses, nurse faculty and regulators education, service and research through collaboration leadership to promote evidence-based regulatory excellence for patient safety and public protection. My goal is to develop relevant online courses that support, empower and contribute to a healthy and successful nursing career.
I have spent the last 20 years of my career not only practicing at the bedside, but developing the next generation of nurses, mentoring nursing faculty, and implementing new strategies to support the nursing profession. I hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a master’s degree in nursing education and I am a doctoral candidate in education with an emphasis on adult learning. NCSBN’s Learning Extension team is committed to providing you with online, self-directed courses that contain quality content, multimedia integration, creative design, intuitive navigation and the ability to connect with peers. Our team values the diversity of learners’ needs, knowledge, experience, and the importance of applying knowledge immediately to practice.
Our new online RN NCLEX Review Course, launched May 1, 2018, focuses on foundational nursing content that is interactive and based on learning theory. The course provides active learning, retention exercises and the opportunity to practice over 1,500 NCLEX-style questions at an affordable cost. Vibrant visuals, videos, and interactive activities are a few of the new learning modalities you will find in the course. Students also have the ability to interact with me through the “Ask the Instructor” feature. To explore our other course offerings, go to the NCSBN home page for detailed descriptions and registration information. Subscribe to the instructor blog for monthly articles on topics ranging from rediscovering the joy of nursing to how to study for the NCLEX or specialty certification exams. Make us your one-stop shop for everything nursing! Thank you, and on behalf of NCSBN’s Learning Extension team, we look forward to supporting your nursing career from beginning to end!
I need someone to help me understand this. I have to pass all practice tests with a 75% or better. When I don't pass with a 75% or better I have to take the same questions with the same answers?? How is that helpful??
Jennifer, congratulations on your new role at NCSBN. Thank you for all of the work you do and your team does to educate not only instructors, but also to help our next generation of graduates to succeed on the NCLEX and in practice.
