Hi~!!
I enrolled for Kaplan last april (ended last july) but still im not contented with my scores, so i enrolled for NCSBN the other day, August 24, 2010. ...and I hope it will work for me because aside from this, I also read Q & A books like Saunders, Lippincott, & Mosby but I only got scores of 50-60%. This will be my 2nd take of NCLEX-RN exam and I was totally frustrated and feel guilty for failing last January. I hope my decision is right for enrolling NCSBN Learning Extension.
I completed the diagnostic test yesterday and i got 63%. Do you think my score is acceptable for passing NCLEX? Anyway, what is your passing grade in here? 65% is our passing grade when I was reviewing in Kaplan.
GOODLUCK ...& i hope we all pass! Godbless. ヽ(○´∀`○)

Hi, Len:
Lots of students don't do well the first time they attempt the pretest and I always write and tell them not to get discouraged. Answering NCLEX-style questions correctly takes practice and skill, so the more you practice questions you complete, the better you will probably do on th exam.
When you do not pass NCLEX, you are mailed a Candidate Performance Report (CPR), which shows the areas of strength and weakness in the content areas of the Test Plan. Using your CPR should be helpful in identifying areas of strength and weakness. Since our course follows the test plan, you can use the CPR to determine where in each lesson you need to focus your review. Here's some information about the CPR: https://www.ncsbn.org/1223.htm
One of the best things about our course is that I am available to answer your questions. You can do this, Len! Let me know how I can help.
Susan

thanks susan~!!
management of care & psychosocial integrity are the areas of my strength.
umm.. how about graph interpretation for our score?

Hi, Len:
Currently, there is no graphic interpretation for scores. I think it's a great idea and the new version of the course (which will be released sometime this fall) will have a graphic for the scores.
