    Title:
    NCLEX Prep...
    Content:

    Hello everyone,

This is how I prepared for NCLEX and hope it's helpful for someone:

    1. Practice as many NCLEX ( analysis/application) type questions as possible b/c these questions test your critical thinkings skills which is what you need in order to pass the NCLEX.

    2. Use as many resources as you can e.g. (Saunders, Mosby, Exam cram, NCLEX 3500, NCSBN online review)....once you practice questions, then review the sections that you scored lowest in with a content review book like Saunders (it's really helpful).

    3. Set out a study plan and stick to it: Make a goal to complete about a 100-200 questions a day for about a good 2 months or whatever's comfortable for you. NO matter what, do not put off studying, stick to it, make sacrifices b/c it will truly be worth it once you get that RN license....the more you practice answering and using your critical thinking skills, the better chances you have at passing...also, make sure to review the rationales of correct and incorrect answers, it serves as a good study guide...and make sure to stay AWAY from negative people b/c that will only hurt your focus...

    4.  In summary: study smart and work hard, stay committed, be positive, keep praying... and give your absolute best and you will be successful....God bless to you all!!!

Nice post Alicia.  I think the students in this community like to know of others study strategies.  Yours is nicely written out too.
