    Title:
Aim to understand instead of memorize
    Tip:

Don’t simply memorize material. Instead aim for understanding the material. Remember that the NCLEX isn’t designed to test for memorization but rather for an understanding of the concepts. When studying content, ask yourself, "How can I use this information when I care for clients?"

I have taken the exam twice and am scheduled to take it again in two weeks.  I have taken the Kaplan coure twice, which was not helpful and was advised to take this course. I need any tips our advice that you have that may be helpful to me.

I have never taken the exam, but I can suggest some resources for you to check out.  The NCSBN Web site has information for NCLEX candidates.  Here is the direct link to the Web site, https://www.ncsbn.org/1213.htm.  You can download a copy of the NCLEX test plan and watch a tutorial about the NCLEX from Pearson Vue.  I hope this helps.  Good luck with your studies.

This is a must the question involve critical thinking not recall.  You need to understand concepts, diseases, nursing process, priority, assessment, and more then relate and apply that knowledge to the question to decide an answer.

I'm a current nursing student and I do agree with this "understanding the concepts instead of memorizing..." There are some information that you must definitely need to memorize but for the most part, understanding the concepts and how to apply it to a situation is a key, in my opinion.
