I found out that I failed NCLEX RN today. I had 78 questions,,,most people get happy when the computer shuts off, however I was jjust the opposite, I was ready to continue and very angry when it stopped. I studied with Kaplan review,,,in-class, question trainers and q-bank. The "decision tree" didnt work for me. I took all tests and scored exactly were they wanted us to be, 60-65%. I have been thinking and driving myself crazy on what I did wrong?? I came to this site bc I have heard wonderful things about posts and reviews. I am open to any suggestions or help out there!! Thankyou!!:)

Listen, please dont go crazy. I completed over 5,000 questions (Kaplan, Saunders, Lippincott, ATI, some Mosby). If I dont pass today I'll look forward to learning more. The more I learn the more I realize there is so much more that I still dont know about the medical field. If you're heart is in it to help people, you wont give up. Just study hard again and do your very best.

Great attitude Aug30! Keep that positive energy going and it will take you somewhere.

At least you had 78 questions,i had 265 and still failed for the second time.Start all over and concetrate in the areas of weakness you will pass next time.Remember you are not the first or last to fail.

Good point Chay. Persevere and you will get there.

have you tried hurst review. I would suggest hurst reveiw if you need with content. It doesnt focus on answering questions. it does 300 online but you could always split it with someone because two can be logged in at one time.it really taught me my content. Best wishes.

Hello,
Don't give up...just focus on your weakness, dust yourself off and try again. Look up what you don't understand. Do questions EVERYDAY....do them at the same time that you will be taking the NCLEX. Do at least 100 questions per sitting (don't get up to eat, drink, etc.) just straight questions. Do more questions if you have the time...practice, practice, practice. Do questions from this website, questions from the Kaplan book...you can check one out from your local library (it also has testing strategies that are very good), and do NCLEX 3500 or NCLEX 4000 CD questions.

Sorry to hear this. I too have failed and can relate and understand how you feel right now. The best advice I can give you is take a little break regroup and never give up.
When you are ready to start studying again look at your weak areas and start with those then add another topic every day, week (whatever you feel will help you). Do lots of questions. Look at each question after and read ALL rationals including the ones you got right. The ones you got wrong look up that topic right then and there not wait and tell yourself I will do that later.
Find others in the same situation and keep eachother motivated.
I am here if you want to chat or discuss question.
Good luck!
