    On the last week before the big day...

    I usually make an outline of the essential things to be done on a daily basis. I stick to the schedule and sleep early so as to train myself to be calm and reserve under pressure as the day nears.  Before retiring to bed, I make sure that my goals for the day are all accomplished. I try to review on the basic items and i make it a point to familiarize myself with the playing field. In short, I get sensible inputs on what to expect, what to bring, what to wear, where to go, time of travel, accessibilty fo meet my essential needs especially on the big day and the like. Quality preparation is very important in any undertaking.

    2 days or a day before, I rejuvinate by treating myself into a soothing massage, spend time with my hubby, and perhaps treat myself to a light comedy film to boost my spirits knowing that I have done everything indispensable towards a very important task or goal. And for anyone in my position, it is important to shed off unnecesarry stress by doing something that you love. In my case, i either run, go to the gym or do something physical.  The mind works best if the rest of the body's machinery is at its best shape.

    I personally believe that TIME MANAGEMENT, SELF DISCIPLINE, FOCUS AND PERSEVERANCE ARE VERY ESSENTIAL TOOLS TOWARDS MAKING SOMETHING HAPPEN =)

    Lastly, I keep a positive outlook and on the BIG day, I GIVE IT MY BEST SHOT!!!

    sometimes it does...In my case, I see it as an avenue for an exchange of knowledge and it keeps me awake! Besides just thinking of the things i'll be missing when i'll go lousy on the study sched. (when the study group is religiousy reading) makes me wanna double my time. NCLEX is not exactly a nice playground and the competition is tough! Just dont make the study group an excuse to chit-chat over non-nclex related things!!! =)

    Time to get hard on my last 2 weeks stretch before the Big Day next month! Game plan needs to be re-polished.

    God Bless everyone who are equally preparing for their chance on the License. . . =)

    HOLY KNOWLEDGE PRAYER (PART1)

    O MOST HOLY VIRGIN MARY, WHO DIDST BEAR JESUS OUR SAVIOR

    AND DIDST SHED THE EVERLASTING LIGHT UPON THE WORLD,

    O MOTHER OF DIVINE KNOWLEDGE, WHOSE MERCIFUL INTERCESSION

    HATH PROCURED THE GRACE OF INCREASING IN KNOWLEDGE AND PIETY

    FOR COUNTLESS MINDS THAT WERE RUDE AND IGNORANT.

    I CHOOSE THEE AS THE GUIDE AND PATRONESS OF MY STUDIES.

    BY THINE INTERCESSION, O MOTHER OF FRUITFUL STUDIES,

    MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT FILL MY SPIRIT WITH LIGHT AND FORTITUDE, PRUDENCE AND HUMILITY;

    MAY HE GIVE ME A GOOD WILL, INTELLIGENCE,MEMORY AND ABILITY IN SUFFICIENT MEASURE,

    AND ABOVE ALL, A SPIRIT OF DOCILITY BOTH IN MIND AND HEART,

    THAT I MAY PROCEED IN ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE COUNSELS OF DIVINE WISDOM.
