You'll always have that fear in the back of your mind, especially when you had failed several times already.  It's a good thing that you're addressing your fear by being more prepared.  Just dont let fear overwhelm you where you then clamp up.  As I once told someone, you have a destination where you want to drive to.  However, if you get lost and keep ending up on the wrong block of the street, you dont stop there.  You simply turn around and try to find the right route again.  Never give up on yourself.  That means, never give up on your lifetime dream to become a nurse.

Congrats and best of luck.  Now you just have to find a job.  All the best to you for being so determined and found yourself again through hard work.

Got all of your emails, for those who sent me an email.  We could study together.  You just need to be committed.  I'll do the same number of questions that you'll do on a daily basis.  Then we could email or talk on the phone what you or I did wrong, when we miss those questions.  Hopefully this strategy will set you on the right path.

For those 4 individuals who emailed me.  Tell me how you would like me to help you.

It is important to first to acknowledge that you need someone's help.  For those who emailed me and wrote me on here, I commend you for taking that initial step.  For those who failed several times already and havent given up on your dreams to become a nurse, I commend you for having the courage to pick up and try again.

Ok.  I could tell you how I want to help you but I think it will be good for you to tell me what and how you would like me to help you.

Let me know and we'll get this process started...

Someone just posted that they failed the nclex again today.  This has got to be the most disheartening experience for you, ever.  Let me help you.  If you need a study partner or someone to help you get started again, I'll volunteer myself to do the same set of questions with you.  We could then discuss what when wrong when you answered the questions.  Let me help you. I'll help guide you.  Let me know if this is good for you!!

I dont know about you but reading didnt really help me.  I never read even a single page in the Kaplan book.  I only referred to it for some lab values.

R'ceived this message via email from someone on here.  She/He can reveal themselves if they want.  I'll just post it here for you all to read.  It's a nice message:

    ---------------------------------

I had to send you a email!! You are such an inspiration to me!!!! I came across your messages today and began reading about your journey to become an RN and I was in awe!!! I was laughing to myself that all the resources you have i have also but I can't seem to find a rhythm in putting them into a schedule to make make good use for all of them! I have saunders, lippincott, ATI, NCLEX/Critical Care, NCSBN, Mosby, LaCharity, Kaplan, HESI CD with questions.
How did you approach you study testing plan? Did you take a system at a time? What was your daily testing goal as far as the amount of questions? How did you incorporate each resource into your daily testing?

Lastly, I want to say congratulation to YOU!!!!!!!!!!! You are an inspiration!!!

I am going to pass your NCLEX to RN journey on to my fellow classmates who laughed at me when I was purchasing the books I mentioned above!! They thought I was crazy!

In nursing school, we had to go over the Lacharity book.  So you did the same thing as my school by going over the Lacharity book.  I think it's great you're getting 85-95% of the questions correct.  If I may be blunt, it's not good enough from the sources you obtained (Saunders A&A Review Cards and having other people quiz you).  Did you go over other sources too that you havent already mentioned here?  It would be important to use other sources too to test yourself and to determine if you still get 85-95%.  You will not get the same percentages if you take the ncsbn pre-test, Saunders comprehensive tests, Lippincott comprehensive tests, Mosby comprehensive tests,....etc.  The point I am trying to make here is that you need to find out as many questions that you miss as possible and learn from your mistakes so that you wont make these same mistakes on the real nclex exam.  I was very happy to learn from the 40-60% that I got from these different sources.  I read the rationales for each of them.  And of course I asked the staff members lots of questions too.  You can do it too.  Try this new strategy I just suggested.

I'm quite puzzled that you've gotten 85-90% on quiz materials.  What were those sources.  Could you be more specific on exactly what you had completed.  I'd like to help you but would need additional information.

I want you to be absolutely certain in your goal to pass this exam.  It's nobody else's business but yours.  Focus only in yourself and keep studying.  Of course you are different for other people.  They're not you!  And you are not them.   Do not be discouraged.  Can you tell me 5 things you learned today?  Tomorrow tell me another 5 things you learned.  Keep building your own knowledge base.
