Our online courses were designed to make learning fun and interactive. You should make sure that you have the appropriate software and hardware in order to utilize all of the great features of the courses. Most are easily met by changing a setting or a free download.
Internet Web Browser Support
NCSBN Learning Extension courses are run on the GreenLight platform, which currently supports Internet Explorer(5.5 or higher) and Mozilla Firefox (3.5 or higher). No other browsers are fully supported by GreenLight at this time. If you experience difficulties with GreenLight, please ensure you are running Microsoft Internet Explorer (
IE 7.0) or Mozilla Firefox (
v.3.6) available for download here.

Pop-up Blockers
Three separate windows are utilized to navigate the NCSBN Learning Extension campus Web site. Pop-up blockers can cause problems with these windows. If you do not see the login page please disable all pop-up blockers. (Find information on
IE 7.0 pop-up blockers and
Mozilla Firefox pop-up blockers here) Also note that many add-on toolbars, including Google and Yahoo, also have pop-up blockers. For more information you can also contact technical support for assistance.
Anti-Virus Software
Some anti-virus products are known to cause problems with the GreenLight platform. If you are experiencing difficulties with registration and are running anti-virus software, we encourage you to temporarily disable your anti-virus software and try registering again. If this does not resolve your issue, please contact technical support for assistance with reconfiguring your anti-virus software. Remember to re-enable your anti-virus software immediately after this to ensure you are protected from other Web sites!
