Are your eyes tired from studying? Back a little stiff from sitting? Lets take a few moments to stretch and relax. Try some of these fun and easy relaxation exercises - your mind and body will appreciate the break!

Here are some of the benefits of these relaxation exercises:

Stretch the Curves of your Spine Open up joints and strengthen opposing muscles. Scapula and glute squeeze.
Stretch Your Hips and Buns Lengthen the muscles that rotate your hips. Push-up stretch over desk with knees inward; knee lifts.
Stretch Your Sides Stretch muscles along side of body, neck, arms, hips and ribcage. Side stretch with 15-second hold.
Upper Body Stretching Relax tight shoulders and neck muscles. Shoulder and upper body stretches.
Lower Body Stretching Open up calves and thighs; rest neck muscles. Runner’s stretch; Quad/hip stretch.
Palm Press Loosen shoulders and neck. Head rotations with palm press.
Eye Exercise Soothe tired eyes. Alphabet eye circles; eye relaxation.
Opening the Chest Release muscles between shoulder blades and back of neck. Pectoral stretches.
Inhale Up/Exhale Down Improve circulation and posture. Improve flexibility. Toe flex and extensions. Toe circles.
Lower Body Improve circulation and posture. Improve flexibility. Toe flex and extensions. Toe circles.
Hand and Arm Revival Increase circulation to fingers and shoulders. Wrist circles; Arm rotations; Shoulder stretch.
